warhammer 40k art by kaorukun warhammer 40k art by kaorukun
My drawing of Warhammer 40k. It is my hobby right now. Some of the poses I did copy, like the 2 marines on the right, but the rest is my own creation. If you want to see the ful size pic, please click on the picture..... the whole thing is big enough to be your wallpaper=P (Razz)

Very cool, one of the best Warhammer pictures Iíve seen even including the stuff they make over at games workshop.

Wow, that's a hell of a compliment, I only wish I can be as good if not better than the guys at Games Workshop. Thanks for the fav as well.

Looking back a year later I still believe that this picture is Games Workshop quality, granted they tend to go for a much darker look. Really just fantastic work. It always catches my eye when I run a warhammer search or browse through my favs.

Have been a 40K fan for years now so naturally I love it.

Must say I am slightly confused as to why you have Black Templar marines and a Dark Angels dreadnought together though (no offence - just a huge Dark Angels fan).

I did this in high school when I had no clue about different chapters, let alone the difference between BT and DA. So basically I picked out cool looking space marines and a cool looking dreadnought.

Thanks for the comment.

Nice work on the Marines. The Dreadnoght is messed up a bit though, and the marines are all different sizes. Otherwise, extremely cool, nice detail.

I've done this when I was in high school, so that's about 3-4 years ago. Hence the flaws you found of it. I'm amazed that people still find this drawing and comment on it from time to time.

man that RULES! and i mean its Black Templars also! my army! and as for nids killing em i highly doubt it by the end my marines would be rousting their carcasses and eating em!

Thank you for your comment- I haven't done any artwork of such scale ever since, I think it took me about 4 days of diligent inking and shading with a pen. Black templars were less flamboyant than other armies, hence my choice of inclusion there. And for the 'nids, who knows? The universe is ruled by the Emperor, of course :)

correctumundo but im right of course, BT are the most loyal and the the most crazy where other marines shy away and run the tmeplars run headlong into battle to avenge the deaths of their brothers in arms. they are rabid. they much prefer to come up to their enemis face to face and tear them apart limb by limb than stay away and blow them up. BT are the craziest fuckers you would ever meet and i wouldnt suggest crossing their path

Ha, i won't even say it. Nice picture though, the detail it *allows* you to see is really interesting, almost supernatural lol. Nice smooth picture but there's one thing that keeps bothering me... one of the Marines in the back is outta proportions...

Really nice pic, but the big image is too zoomed in. I suggest scaling it down a little. :) (Smile)
